Cynthia Nuce, LCSW
Owner
Cynthia began her social work career over 30 years ago and has always worked with individuals, families and children in crisis. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Florida and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University. She has worked in a variety of environments including foster care, specialized therapeutic foster care, day treatment centers for children and teenagers, a teenagers-at-risk program, a prison mental health program, and has extensively worked with children and families of divorce. Cynthia has worked with clients of all ages and is avid about helping people along their life journey. She utilizes an eclectic, relaxed, therapeutic approach to help each individual remove emotional roadblocks and realize their maximum potential. Cynthia also volunteers as an outreach ambassador with Marion Therapeutic Riding Association, a 501(c)(3) P.A.T.H. certified equine program serving clients with a variety of needs whose mission statement is “to offer the miraculous benefits of therapeutic horseback riding to persons of all ages and capabilities who are physically, mentally or emotionally challenged.” She also serves on the board of directors of West Central Florida Driver Improvement, a 501(c)(3) agency that provides education and programs to encourage healthy lifestyles and to promote traffic safety through safe and drug free living. In addition to studying, she takes care of her own mental health by spending time with her three dogs and two cats and loves spending time in nature, kayaking on quiet Florida waterways.
Karen Lister, LCSW
Clinical Director
Karen M. Champagne-Lister received both her Bachelor's in Social Work and her Master's in Social Work from Michigan State University. She has a varied background, having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as residential treatment and skilled nursing, and in both the public and private sector providing Social Work and Psychotherapy services to adults and children with various patient presentations. For the past 15 years, she has been working in the private sector providing outpatient psychotherapy to adult patients presenting for psychiatric treatment. She is skilled in addressing a wide range of diagnoses and presenting problems, including but not limited to Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, as well as adjustment disorders, grief work, and self -image work. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Centered Approach, Play Therapy, Expressive Art Therapy, Narrative , Supportive, Affirmation / Insight Approach Therapy.
Sandra Harrison, LCSW
Sandra Harrison is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 30 years of clinical experience providing services to individuals and groups. Her experience includes inpatient and outpatient mental health, children and adult bereavement, anger and stress management, trauma and loss, anxiety and depression, pain management, and assistance with smoking cessation and weight loss through hypnotherapy. She provides clinical supervision to social work interns and is a certified facilitator with the Children’s Bereavement Center in Miami.
Ashlee Telschow, RMHCI
Ashlee is a Mental Health Counselor. She is a native of Citrus County and works with care to serve those in her community. Ashlee received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University in 2014 and her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2018. She has provided individual, family, marital and group counseling to clients of all ages and diagnoses. Her education includes, but is not limited to individual counseling, group counseling, interviewing, observation, psychotherapy, diagnosis, assessment, and multicultural counseling. Ashlee strives to work with approaches that are compassionate, kind, and non-judgmental for all her clients. Tonia received her Social Science degree From the University of Central Florida in 2019 and her Masters degree in Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2022. Tonia provides services to children, teens and adults with a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and caring approach. Gina Liquori, RCSWI
Hello, I am Gina Liquori, I am currently a Registered Social Work Intern. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Stockton University in New Jersey in 2014. I also graduated with my Masters of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2021. I believe that each therapy session is an important tool to getting to know my clients. I understand that each client is unique and I strive to understand my client’s whole being. I customize each session based on the needs of the client and I strive to give compassion, hope, and strength. I try my best to live an authentic lifestyle and I will help my clients try to also live their authentic life. I have worked with at risk populations including substance abuse and other non-substance abuse addictions, persistent mental health illnesses, and homelessness. I also have extensive experience with sexual trauma and PTSD. I have experience working with the LGTBQ+ community and have worked at churches, mental health agencies, and schools throughout her career. Karrell Hylton, RMHCI
Dr. Karelle Hylton D.Min, is a graduate of Andersonville Theological Seminary, she holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Christian Counseling and a master’s degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology, a bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. With over fifteen years of experience in Mental Health Counseling, Karelle has specialized in working with clients with trauma ages 10 upwards. She has worked with many different types of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, grief, marriage, family and Christian Counseling. As a clinician Karelle has many designations such as a Licensed Christian Counselor, Registered Mental Health Intern and trained as an Accelerated Resolution Therapist (ART). She is also a trained Guidance Counselor. In her current role Karelle strongly believes in the strength of the person to transform and grow, through any situation. Karelle's mantra is "you are not broken, you only need to be aware, willing to accept and work through your situation. Therapy helps!" Karelle enjoys fostering growth in others.
Donna Gatto, RCSWI
My desire to help others led me to pursue a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of New York at Stony Brook, graduating in 2009. I am registered with the State of Florida and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to treat adults, teens, and adolescents who struggle with various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), borderline personality disorder (BPD) and addiction. As a skilled therapist, I utilize various interventions to help my clients overcome their challenges. These include cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and relational therapy for individual, family, couple, and group counseling sessions. I am told that I am a "motivator of people" and known for my ethical and non-judgmental approach to providing services to clients. I strive to provide compassionate, caring, and unwavering support, ensuring a safe and non-judgmental environment for all individuals. With a proven track record of success, I have gained extensive clinical experience throughout my career. Over the years, I have successfully demonstrated my strong and consistent work ethic, which has contributed to my growth and success as a clinical social worker. I have successfully treated a wide range of clients and have provided them with the necessary tools and support to overcome their mental health challenges.
Marcel Currier, LCSW
Marcel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has lived in Citrus County for over 20 years and works hard to provide care to those in community. Marcel received an undergraduate in Human Services in 2014 and Graduated from Saint Leo University in 2016 with a master’s in social work. She worked hard the last couple of years on becoming Licensed. She passed the Clinical Licensing exam and became a LCSW in 2023. She has experience working with Hospice, working in schools, individual, and groups. For the last 10 years she has been focusing on depression, grief, medical crisis, and anxiety. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Therapy, Family Centered Approach, Play Therapy, Active listening, Mindfulness. / Insight Approach Therapy, Behavioral Therapy.
Jennifer Lambo, LMHC
I graduated from Springfield College in 2015 with a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling, with honors. During my program, I completed a practicum with my local child advocacy center “Jessie’s Place” and at a local Community Mental Health program in addictions. Postgrad I have 9 years of experience with ages 0-86. Individuals, Families, Parent/Child, and Couples. Specializing in Trauma, Family Conflict, Anxiety, Depression, Addictions, LGBTQ, Autism, and other mental health disorders. I am also an expert witness for Citrus, Marion & Hernando Counties.
